In addition, Jeri is an award-winning, fine art nature photographer and the developer of the environmental art project for children and their grown-ups, The Beauty and Wonder of Trees. Jeri earned the Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Creative Nonfiction writing from Goddard College, and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from California State University, Los Angeles. Jeri is a former, award-winning broadcast news executive, who has worked in all three of the nation's largest media markets—New York, Los Angeles and Chicago. She also worked as a public relations and government affairs executive.
